Had the opportunity to shoot and attend Katy Perry’s Concert last weekend for her sold out hometown shows @ the Nokia Theater. Katy is such a performer, she played a solid 2 hour show with 17 outfit changes, pyro, and dancing. For this show I shot from the sound board so it was about 165 feet away from the stage. First three songs no flash of course. I should have gotten a 400mm lens but instead I chose a 70-200mm with a 1.4 telephoto lens extension.
