Glitch Mob came home to LA and played an epic show at Club Nokia. I saw these boys a year ago (picture above taken by me at the Music Box) and they blew my mind then, but this time around it was ten times better and they’ve definitely come along way. These boys have grown in their music and showmanship and put on a really great show. An addition to the tour from last year for the Mob’s\u00a0visuals, it now featured illuminating light brackets << framing >> each of the Mob members and would light up at different intervals. During the drum solo portion, the lighted frames followed the action of who was playing.<\/p>\n

Photek opened the show and dropped some sick beats too but honestly he was a little slow for me. RJD2 followed, dressed as a robot at first, and that guy is one\u00a0bad ass muthaf!@#$ on the turntables. Not just 1.. but 4 turntables. I love a man who still plays vinyl, but 4 decks is even more amazing. Classic, old school, and skilled as hell. Thanks to Buzznet, I got the chance to shoot Glitch again…<\/p>\n
