British band The XX played in Hollywood on October 12th to a sold out crowd at the Hollywood Palladium. Playing from their latest release Coexist, this was probably refreshing change from their self debut tour. Known for their hypnotic, sexy, and spacey grooves, The XX didn’t fail to disappoint a crowd. I’d seen them a few months ago before the album released and they had a completely different set list with a giant acrylic X filled with white smoke on stage. This time however, mimicking the latest album cover Coexist, their stage set was nothing but dark with moody silhouettes, shadow play, and a few colored lights. This was the perfect setting for a hipster make out session. If you haven’t get heard the album yet, get to it… 🙂
